TikTok
Functional guide for configuring the TikTok Events API integration in Pharos.
This guide explains the TikTok integration in Pharos from a functional point of view.
What Is This Integration
The TikTok integration sends server-side purchase conversions from Pharos into TikTok through the Events API.
It is intended for businesses that want completed purchases from Pharos reflected in TikTok conversion reporting.
When to Use It
Use TikTok when you want:
- server-side purchase tracking for TikTok campaigns
- completed purchases from Pharos tied back to ad measurement
- purchase reporting that continues beyond purely browser-side tracking
Prerequisites
Before configuring TikTok, make sure:
- you have a TikTok business setup with the relevant pixel or event source
- you have a valid access token
- you know the pixel code
- you can preserve TikTok attribution identifiers through the buyer journey
- you know the test event code if you want to validate the setup
How to Configure It in Pharos
- Open the TikTok integration page in admin settings.
- Enable the integration.
- Enter the access token.
- Enter the pixel code.
- Enter the test event code if you want to validate the integration in test mode.
- Save the settings.
What Happens After It Is Enabled
After the integration is enabled:
- Pharos stores the TikTok credentials
- successful purchases can be sent as server-side
Purchaseevents - Pharos uses captured TikTok attribution data when it is available
How to Verify It Is Working
You can verify the setup by:
- completing a test purchase
- checking that the event appears in TikTok reporting or diagnostics
- using the test event code if your team wants a safe validation flow
Limitations or Important Notes
- the current setup is purchase-focused
- attribution depends on TikTok identifiers being available before purchase completion
- this is not a complete full-funnel TikTok events setup
Troubleshooting
If conversions do not appear:
- confirm the integration is enabled
- confirm the access token and pixel code are correct
- confirm the buyer journey preserved the attribution data needed for the purchase
- confirm the test event code is correct if you are validating in test mode
Functional Summary
The TikTok integration allows Pharos to send completed purchases into TikTok as server-side purchase conversions when the required credentials and attribution signals are available.
